Global Cinematography Institute

Advanced Study in Expanded Cinematography®

This program features 14-15 hours of instruction in each course.

Advanced Expanded Cinematography® Classes

In order to gain a full understanding of complex visual concepts and technologies, a few hours of overview instruction in each subject is not enough. Many of the new methods of image making rely on specialized tools for creating Previs, Visual Effects, Virtual Production, Digital Intermediate Color Grading, etc. In Expanded Cinematography® Advanced Classes, students move beyond the foundational concepts of each course, and move into gaining a practical, hands-on ability to express their artistic vision using the latest tools and technologies of image making. Our classes are the "next step" in the education of an "expanded cinematographer", moving beyond the conceptual stage and into the practical phase of the Expanded Cinematography® course curriculum.

In different classes student complete lighting, composition and color correction assignments in order to utilize new skills and concepts in all phases of cinematography.
